Scottish Country Dancing

Adult classes start on Monday 9th  and Friday 13th September 2024.  Come and give it a try or return after a summer break, to enjoy dancing and catching up with friends old and new.  Classes start at 7.45pm and conclude about 10pm with a break for refreshments.  At only £4 per person, no partners necessary, and full instructions given, it’s an ideal opportunity to get fit (without realising it) and have fun!

Junior classes, including Scottish Country and Highland dancing on term time Mondays, start on Monday 9th September 2024 from 4.30m.  Details from Dance Teacher Issy Bristow.

Spring Walk

 The Spring walk and meal will be on Saturday 22nd March from Slaidburn.

 The annual general meeting will be held on Monday 28th April 2025 at Pendleton Village Hall

“Margaret’s” Outdoor Dance

In memory of Margaret Allen we will be hosting an outdoor dance and Jacob’s Join at Pendleton Village Hall. 11th May, 4.00pm until 7.00

60 Years of Clitheroe and District Caledonian Society

On 5th July 2025 the Clitheroe and District Caledonian Society will be hosting an afternoon / evening event to celebrate 60 years of the society.  There will be an Arts and Crafts competition, games, dancing and an afternoon tea. Then dancing again until 19:30

Weekend Away

 Our Biannual weekend away is planned to take place in March 2025 at Hawkshead Youth Hostel, following our most successful  weekend there in 2023

Quiz Night

Everyone welcome to our annual quiz night at Pendleton Village Hall on Wednesday 25th October 2024.  Come along and enjoy the quiz and some tea and cake for £4 per person, with teams being made up on the night.  Start 7.45pm

St. Andrews Night Dinner and Dance

We look forward to welcoming friends old and new as we celebrate St Andrew’s night with a dinner dance at Hurst Green Village Hall on Saturday 30th November 2024.  As usual, a delicious meal is planned followed by dancing to a live band, with dance callers on hand to remind us as needed - Start 7.00pm for 7.30pm.  Tickets £20.00

Christmas Party

This year our Christmas Party and Jacob join at Pendleton Village Hall is on Friday 20th December 2024.  With dancing, “turns” and the all important shared refreshments we celebrate the season before our Christmas break.   7.45pm  

2024 Burns Night

Burns night celebrations are planned for Saturday 25th January 2025 at Mytton Fold Hotel BB6 8AB, This is the first event of our 60th anniversary year so join we look forward to welcoming everyone for an evening of friendship, good food, speeches and dancing.
